For blocked nose ,it should be cleaned with normal saline regularly. Normal saline is basically water in salt. You can make it yourself at home. Take one table spoon of water and add 1pinch of salt and put 1/2drops of it in baby’s nose and clear it using cotton bud. You can use it as frequently as necessary. There are no side effects. But be careful to clean the nose with good quality ear bud because sometimes the cotton gets left behind in the nose which can be troublesome.
